Its a necessary part of having a Bangkok Blog. You have to review the nightlife areas.
This is not the main focus of my site, and I think it’s fair to say that I know LESS about the Bangkok bar scene than any competent blogger in Bangkok.
I’ll do my bit. Unlike, say, Bangkok Bad Boy, who undertook to visit EVERY bar in the three ferang nightlife areas, I’ll focus on talking about my experiences and preferences; after all, there is no shortage of comprehensive reviews of the Bangkok & Pattaya nightlife scene. And my review will range far and wide, taking in many different entertainment options outside of Nana, Cowboy & Patpong. After all, if you’re trying to decide if you want to live here, you’ll want to know about more than just go-go bars.
So, Part 1 will focus mostly on venues that offer live music, and will review:

- The (late) Coliseum
- Suan Lum Night Bazaar
