Birth control way to save forest

The best way to prevent forest encroachment is birth control, according to Natural Resources and Environment Minister Anongwan Thepsuthin.
Increasing populations in communities inside or near protected forest had led to increased deforestation, the minister said yesterday.
”I don’t think this [birth control] would violate human rights. I have already been sterilised,” she said.
