Me? I hate the place. I stay in Bangkok and my blog is about Bangkok.
But some people like Pattaya.
I got this email in my inbox today:
Hi Werewolf,
I really enjoy reading your blog on a regular basis. “How the girls live” post was especially eyeopening.
We just launched a new Pattaya street view site that may be of interest to you and your readers.
The site uses new panoramic view technology that let’s you virtually walk Pattaya streets.
The site address is: http://www.pattayaphotoguide.com/
There are some juicy shots from Soi 6 here:

Cheers,
Hippo
I had a quick look at the site, and it looks like they put a lot of work in on it. It’s a bit clunky in some ways, and very impressive in others.
So if you want to see Pattaya, click on the link and enjoy your virtual tour!

I’ve never been to Pattaya. Looks much less polluted than Bkk and the beach is nice.
I can’t find the mentioned juicy shots from Soi 6. Can somebody please help ? Ta.

They’re not really all that juicy… just girls visible on the side of the road.

nice idea! with some tweeking could be onto something but also looks like a headache to set up and maintain, they must be developing something else they can sell!

I only went once…with my dad! “Happy a-Go-Go” was the best bar I’ve been to in Thailand. The girls were stunners. We did “Angelwitch” for the sake of it, which was a lot better than the jaded Bangkok version. But that was all we did, so I’ll reserve judgement on the whole.
There seems to be two definite camps, with neither the Pattaya or Bangkok fans having much time for the other. The Bangkok bloogers seems to harbour a particular resentment, while the Pattaya guys are much more laid back about it. It’s a bit like the so-called Sydney-Melbourne rivalry…which is really from the Melbourne side. We in Sydney couldn’t give a flying fuck.
I’m on the Bangkok side, if only because it’s a city I visit so often. But Pattaya is something I wouldn’t mind exploring.
