I’m in Koh Samet.
As I type this I am sitting on the beach under an umbrella. Portions of my body are red from too much sun yesterday. My sister is sitting to my right staring out at the ocean, a novel forgotten on her lap.
I did byoTg this trip… bring your own Thai girl. She’s on my left. She’s been sitting with her MP3 plugged into her ears, but now she and my sister are about to go swimming… or maybe my Thai girl is gonna buy some hot noodle soup from one of the ladies that tromp up and down the beach offering food to tourists.
It’s been a relaxing week. This is my third day of relaxing in a chair on the beach under a large umbrella. In addition to my byo-girl, there’s been plenty of eye candy, including a surprising number of very hot white girls.
Sis and I have been travelling for eight days now, and in spite of the fact that it’s the middle of the rainy season and that we’ve it two of the notoiously wettest venues (Chiang Mai and Samet) we’ve only seen rain once — in the taxi on the way to the bus station on the afternoon that we left Chiamg Mai. Sis has been a good luck charm for precipitation.
This is, from memory, my fifth trip to Koh Samet.
If you’ve never been here, it’s a great place for a three or four day beach holiday if you really like the sun and sand. It’s a smallish island that offers a variety of accommodation, and a limited list of activities to supplement swimming and suntanning. You can ride a banana boat or jet ski, take a speedboat tour of the area or go snorkeling or even scuba diving. There are probably a few other activities as well but it’s primarily a quiet kind of weekend-getaway place, just three hours from Bangkok.
If you want to go there you can grab a bus from Ekkamai station (or a car if you prefer) to Rayong Province. The jump off point is a small town called Bang Phe, and it takes between 15 and 40 minutes by boat (depending on which one you take) to reach the island.
I planned to write a bit more, and to upload some pics, but I just got the low battery warning from my ‘puter. I’m just gonna post and say goodbye. I’ll check in again on Sunday night.

Staying at Jep’s ? I dislike lying on a beach for long – about 2 hours is right for me then I want to go and do something else…. I was there with ‘Svetlana’ last year and attended a full moon party where the host with a microphone assured us we we going to shake our booty until 6 in the morning … there were murmours in the crowd of “…not fucking likely..” – when we departed at midnight there were only a handful left. Try going eastwards along the north of the island… it gets a bit more interesting… in a picturesque way.

ST: I’ve never been anti-white girls… I love beautiful girls. If I could get laid by young beautiful Irish girls for the price of a hamburger lunch then I might well move to Ireland. Since young beautiful Thai girls bang me for beer money I live in Bangkok.
Fact is, I haven’t had sex with a white girl since 1984, but if some of the (white) girls I’ve seen over the past week offered I’d be all over it like a fly on sugar. There were three backpackers from England on the train to Chiang Mai, for example, that were sunburned and lucious. Probably about 20 years old with perfect bodies, white teeth, blue eyes, naturally blond hair… I would never stand a chance of getting laid by them.
Meanwhile, since I’ve taken the shackles off with the rejection by my go go dancer, it’s the 21st of the month and a quick tally tells me that I’ve gotten laid about every other day this month, and that has included seven different girls. One of them swallowed and another took it up the bum three times. All of them were between 22 and 30 years old. All of them were — to me — quite beautiful. Amazing Thailand!
So the white girls can ignore my 49 year old, bald fat ass. I’m happy.
MSB: ON Thursday, while the place was full of foreign tourists, I saw three girls sunning their hooters on the beach. With the influx of working Thais on Friday night and Saturday morning said hooters were promptly covered up. (While they were showing I took a look… none of them was worth the effort. I might well have offered the girls money to put their tops back on if I hadn’t been walking past and on out of sight). **shudders**
docbond: not sure where the idea of Jep’s came from… maybe an earlier blog. We actually stayed at the White Sands Resort — cheaper, cuter bungalow, but quite a bit louder in the morning, especially as there was a motorcycle parking area right in front of my bungalow.
We had a great time, but 3 1/2 days is my limit.
I’m back in Bangkok now. Went for dinner with my favorite (former) go go dancer and my sis tonight. Sis liked her a lot. Of course, sis likes everybody.
Back to work tomorrow so I’ll probably go to sleep without adding a blog tonight. Hopefully I’ll be back to regular posting within a week. Sis heads back to the US in 7 days.

As these things happen…I overheard a “silverbelly” (thanks, Prufrock) in the office today having a moan about her Krabi holiday. Turns out she had the loneliest pair of tits in Thailand. “They only wanted the local cows,” she wailed.
They shut up shop quicksmart as I walked past (they know my history) but not quick enough to stop me guffawing loudly on the way to the gents.
